1Create Your Account

Sign up for a free AskReview account using your email or Google account. No credit card required to get started.

• Visit askreview.co and click 'Start Free'
• Enter your name, email, and create a password
• Or use Google Sign-In for faster setup
• Verify your email address

2Set Up Your Business Profile

Complete your business profile in Settings to personalize your review collection experience.

• Add your business name and type
• Upload your logo for branded widgets
• Configure your review request email settings
• Set your timezone for scheduling

3Add Your First Customer

Start by adding customers you'd like to request reviews from. You can add them manually or import in bulk.

• Go to Customers page from the dashboard
• Click 'Add Customer' and enter their details
• Or use 'Bulk Import' to add multiple customers via CSV
• Customer data is securely stored and never shared

4Send Your First Review Request

Request reviews from your customers via email. Each customer receives a personalized link to leave their feedback.

• Navigate to Review Requests page
• Select one or more customers
• Add an optional personal message
• Click 'Send Now' or 'Schedule' for later

3. 3Add an optional personalized message (up to 250 characters)
4. 4Choose to send immediately or schedule for later
5. 5Click 'Send Now' or 'Schedule' to complete

Smart Scheduling

Schedule review requests to go out at the perfect time. Great for following up after a service or purchase.

• Set a specific date and time for delivery
• Schedule multiple customers at once
• View and manage scheduled requests in the Customers page
• Cancel or reschedule before the send time

Spam Protection

AskReview includes built-in spam protection to maintain your sender reputation:

• 14-day cooldown period between requests to the same customer
• Warning when sending to recently contacted customers
• Marketing word detection to avoid spam filters
• Rolling 7-day limit tracking for fair usage

Review Moderation

When customers submit reviews, they appear in your Testimonials page for moderation:

Testimonial Actions

• Approve/Reject: Control which reviews are displayed
• Public/Private: Toggle visibility on widgets and Wall of Love
• Pin: Pin important reviews to the top of lists
• Filter: Search and filter by rating, status, or date

Wall of Love

Pro users get access to a public Wall of Love page - a beautiful, shareable page showcasing all your approved testimonials.

• Unique public URL for your business
• Displays all public, approved testimonials
• Professional, branded design
• Easy to share on social media

How to Embed Widgets

1. 1Go to Widgets page and select a widget type
2. 2Customize the appearance (theme, colors, number of reviews)
3. 3Copy the generated embed code
4. 4Paste the code into your website's HTML
5. 5The widget loads your approved testimonials automatically

QR Code Features

Pro Customization

Pro users can customize their QR codes:

• Choose QR code size (300px to 1000px)
• Custom foreground and background colors
• Multiple dot styles (square, rounded, dots)
• Embed your logo in the center
• Scan analytics tracking
